I wrote a memoir awhile ago that, lately, I’ve been considering rewriting. To do that I would have to reread it and I’m not sure I’m ready to. Hesitation is from what kind of writer I was back then, not from the content I was sharing. Although, thinking about it, I was almost completely vulnerable when I wrote it, so it would make sense if I felt hesitant about revisiting it.

It used to only be sold in two places – Lulu (self-publishing) and Amazon. I sold a few copies when it first went “live”. I looked it up in the last 6 or so months and found it in a variety of other places including Ebay. Prices are all over the place on other sites…and any profit isn’t finding its way back to me.

If I do a rewrite I want to have a way to keep my work my own, if that’s possible. I don’t know what that means in publishing.
