Did I get your attention? :) I don't really mean forget what you know, but there might be ways to journal that you hadn't considered.

I started journaling AFTER I had some energy work training and noticed how receiving that work was positively affecting me. I felt compelled to write things down so I had a record of the changes I was going through.

Forget what you know about journaling

I thought they were too fancy or pretty and I didn't think I should mess them up.

I didn’t start journaling until I was in my early 30’s. At the time, I was a massage therapist getting trained in Reiki (energy work) during the day and practicing on myself at night. Right before I fell asleep one night (ok, I thought I was asleep) I saw a quick view of little me and felt a strong sense that I was about to get hurt.

I woke up feeling startled, scared and knew it wasn't a dream. So many thoughts came through that I had to write them down.

That’s how I started journaling. I had a sketchbook nearby and something to write with and just started writing to “get it out”, whatever it was.

Now 20 years later, I haven’t stopped…though there have been pauses of weeks or months. For me, journaling is another art medium. I’ve experimented over the years with different supplies (more than  paper/pen/pencil). I’ve stored full journals on bookshelves, then decided to shred them all.

I had journals when I was a growing up ...
but I didn't write in them.

This support starts with your ideas/intentions and then exploring some writing prompts and other tools to find the right access point for you.

This can happen in so many different ways, starting with a conversation ~

Why do you want to start journaling or change the way you already journal?

Maybe you're following a feeling that this might be right for you, but you're not sure what that means.

You might have an idea of how many times weekly you want to journal and how much time you have for each session.

We could meet on video calls weekly (as coworking sessions) or maybe you just need one call for motivation to schedule your own independent journaling time.
