All yoga sessions include:
opening and closing connections to grounding,
acknowledgement of cultural origins of yoga
(with resource links given pre- and post-session),
gratitude to guides/ancestors and
connection to highest vibrational healing.
Throughout each session we support our bodies in many ways including physical, emotional and energetic (Chakra system).

We engage in these connections with intention so our practice can more easily and gently remove barriers to greater healing.

This modality of Yoga
has roots in Thailand.
These sessions include techniques for self-massage and joint mobility.

Reusi Dat Ton
(pronounced: "lucy-dot-tun")

Many poses mirror asanas of Indian Yoga. Sessions often begin with breathing exercises followed by self-massage, active poses, visualization, mantra and meditation.

My favorite part of yoga is when I realize my body is letting me in farther than it used to ~ I am doing something I didn't think I could...
When that happens for the first time with students, the breath becomes an EVENT!

In addition to Reusi Dat Ton, Yoga modalities I teach include:

~Vinyasa (Sun Salutations, flow of poses with breath; can move somewhat quickly)
~Hatha (slower flow, holding shape of poses longer with multiple breaths, some physical or emotional barriers come up more for me in this modality)
~Yin (finding calm moments even in discomfort, using breath to soften physical and emotional barriers)
~Restorative (resting poses allow for complete relaxation and promote full grounding and rest)
